My Career Goals

My goals are to become an Elementary Teacher. I would prefer to teach lower level grades. I was a teacher assistant for a few years, and that's where my love from teaching grew  from. I am just returning back to college to finally finish my degree. I hope to return back to the school district where i was employed  as an aide and have my own classroom.  I want to teach because I feel like education is a must. All careers derive from having an education because you have to be able to at least read, and write. I think teachers do not get enough credit for all they do.  Its baffling how everyone says the children are the future, but yet the people who are teaching these kids to have bright futures are one of the lowest paid occupations.  If it were not for teachers there would not be CEO's and scientists. I hope that in the future teachers are given the benefits and recognition they deserve, and even if we don't we will still teach on.  I worked with amazing teachers who made strides everyday to incorporate fun, and engaging activities into their classrooms, I watched them stress over the STAAR test, and worry about the special need students in their class, and the dedicated administrators try their best to deal with behavior problems and get the equipment needed for students to be a success.  I admire them and hope to one day be as inspirational as they are to someone else.Effective Teaching
